The annual Children's Winter Gear Distribution is held on the same night as Waynesburg's Christmas on High Street event. Over 1,400 children have been outfitted in the last five years, and the partnership with our friends at Neighbor 2 Neighbor has allowed for satellite locations to serve a broader population. Winter gear categories includes coats, pajamas, boots, hoodies, blankets, gloves, and more.
All Greene County children under the age of 18 are invited and encouraged to attend the Children's Winter Gear Distribution. There is no registration process but all children must attend in person to ensure a proper fit. Follow Growing Up Greene on social media or check back to our website's events page for updates.
